Anyways again we were fighting against and hoping that the rain doesn't play spoil sport and thus we wanted to start the game as early as possible and thus as per the captain's instructions most of us managed to get to the ground by 8:45....good job on that but we cud do better with everyone coming at the requested time!!! Fortunately we managed to get the game before the rain got to the game...and we got a result....obviously...wich was that RCC won.\uc0舲 RCC won the toss and elected to bat. The openers this time were the usual Fahad and the stylish opener Manish who took strike and hit the very first ball for a classic textbook drive for a 4. Fahad, who got a life at the very first ball he faced started playing his blazing array of shots all over while Manish held up the other end as he was trying to gain his form back. Unfortunately Manish got out after scoring a mere 15 runs but did help Fahad see through the first 8 overs. In came the old stalwart of RCC Satbir Paaji (he still thinks he is young enuf to perform) and started playing his shots all over the ground. Fahad and Paaji managed to build up a great stand by putting up a huge partnership of around\'a0200\'a0runs to help RCC secure a clear winning position in the game. Paaji scored a brilliant 99 runs only unlucky to miss out on a well deserved century....which clearly proved his point that HE IS STILL YOUNG ENUF TO PERFORM....ahahahahaha....paaji舲 now stop blushing!!! hahaha. Towards the nearing of Fahad's century Paaji started getting jealous of him and tried to run him out a couple of times because he wanted to be the only one to get a century and fix his place in the RCC team for every game for two seasons....hahaha. Joking!!! Fahad was displaying an excellent unseen amount of energy and was running for every run...even when there wasn't any!!! Eventually he managed to score a blistering 117 runs of just 84 balls and the highlight of his innings was the 3 consecutive sixes he hit of a lanky tall pace bowler. Paaji got out for a very unlucky 99....what the hell...sachin has got out like umpteen number of times...so its ok paaji...u're good on that!!! Arvind is to b given all the flak for that as he kept it a confidential secret and wouldn't even tell the people in the pavilion that u were on 99...jesus arvind...u're not working for the CIA bro!!! lol joking....back to the game...in went Andy舲 and scored a quick fire 16 of 10 balls during which Fahad had scored his century and got out to a nice piece of wicket keeping and was replaced by Faraz....hahahahahahha...sorry but his name jus cracks me up...the thought of him does!!! Rest of the batsmen just followed and scored quick runs to help RCC reach a winning total of 330 runs. Anurag who got a bit of a bat did a good job to score 2 runs of 2 balls and remain not out!!!舲 RCC in the field looking to wrap up the GHCC side as soon as they could and the ever so consistent Brother Bhu started the proceedings for RCC from the Tree End (there are a lot of huge Trees on that end so din know what else to name it) and got a wicket in the very first over....Faraz on the other end kept the batsmen tight and consistently kept squaring them up while Brother Bhu kept on picking up the wickets....to give himself a tally of 5 wickets....which i believe was the turning point for him for this season and now he will be seen amongst the top wicket takers in the league as the season goes by!!! way to go bro bhu. Other bowlers kept on keeping the batsmen tied up and thus getting a wicket each with the highlight other than Brother Bhu being Miraj....he finally found some rythm and good form and we hope he continues with that thru the season. overall a great performance and full Kudos to the team for getting GHCC out for a mere 45 runs...great舲 work peeps!!! Along with the bowling appraisal...i would definitely praise the fieldin efforts and no dropped catches....ARVIND....u did a great job even though u were nursing a broken finger...it was very brave of u to continue with your decision to play and we all appreciate it...and to top it up...u made sure u backed up ur decision with two great catches....one or two slips...is ok...repeating the same thing that i say....BEST PLAYER CAN HAVE A WORST DAY AND WORST PLAYER CAN HAVE THE BEST DAY!!! keep up the good work arvind and we hope to see you just get better!!! we all love ur dedication to the game so there is not much to say!!! :) keep up the good fielding and catching guys...the practice is definitely helping i believe...!!!舲 Guys before i conclude this long ass report...i would like to point out that we did get a good score on the board but we all do remember (for those who don't or chose not to....i m going to rub it in) that we managed this score with the help of GHCC dropping 6 catches at least....out of which 2 were for Paaji and a couple for Fahad...both big scorers and if we were playing against a good strong side...like DCC...whom we are playing the next game against....then they proly wud've held onto m and i wonder what total would we have gotten to...not meaning to say that the others are not good enuf in our team but we have to be careful and pick and chose our shots....i guess Fahad u and Paaji have found your form and have got a good feel of the wicket and the ball now....and so we hope to c many more big scores from you guys along with others but we would love to see even better...a flawless innings!!! GUYS WE NEED TO BE CAREFUL AND I WILL KEEP ON EMPHASISING舲 ON THAT IN EVERY SINGLE MATCH REPORT UNTIL I ACTUALLY SEE A CHANGE!!! 舲 Overall a great performance RCC....keep it up and lets just get better and stronger with every game...i know and all of us know....we can do it....we've to win the championship this time...hard work and dedication is all it takes...of course not to forget that we need to work as a team and not as individuals....all in all i know we can do it!!!舲 GO RCC!!!}
